Marzano's Six Step Process:

1. Explain- Provide a student-friendly description, explanation, or example of the new term. (TPR)

2. Restate- Ask the student to restate the description, explanation or example in their own words. (Share &talk about )

3. Show-Ask the students to construct a picture, symbol, or graphic representing term.

4. Discuss- Engage the students periodically in activities that help them add to their knowledge of terms in their notebooks.

5. Refine& Reflect- Periodically ask students to discuss the terms with one another.

6. Apply in learning games-Involve the students periodically in games that allow them to play with terms.
